Diabetic clinics are run once a week—usually on a Wednesday. Please call the surgery to book in for your annual check.

Asthma Reviews

If you are asthmatic and using inhalers you are advised to attend an asthma clinic at least annually. Please call the practice to book an appointment. The GP/Nurse will review your medication and give you advice on how to best manage your asthma.

Advice for patients should the GP request that you have a spirometry test:

  • The receptionist will book you two appointments, with a 10 minute break between them.
  • Please do not use your inhaler on the day of your test.
  • Please bring your inhalers with you to the appointment.

Smoking Cessation

The practice runs a stop smoking service with the Health Care Assistant. If you are interested please call the surgery to book an appointment to discuss. We can offer various stop smoking aids and give advice and guidance on how you can start taking the steps to give up.
